The Tower has hosted the longest-running urban BASE (Building, Antenna, Span, Earth) event since 1999 and it is now the largest event of its kind in the world. Malaysia is known for food, and let’s just say that this was one of the things we were most looking forward to during our time in KL. With Chinese, Indian and Malay options all around town, it’s hard to stop eating in this country.
Street food geared toward foreigners: Hutong 10 and Jalan Alor. Both of these seemed much more geared toward tourists than locals, and the prices reflected this.
Where the locals go: There are many other street food hubs around the city that are frequented by locals, but one area in particular have a great selection was Jalan Raja Muda Musa street in Kampung Baru.

Zoo Negara covers 110 acres of land which is situated only 5km from the city of Kuala Lumpur.
The Istana Negara is the official residence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, the monarch of Malaysia. It is located along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Halim in Segambut, northwestern Kuala Lumpur. The palace opened in 2011 and replaced the old Istana Negara.

There’s nothing like walking on air and on the Petronas Twin Towers’ sky bridge (located on the 41st floor), that’s as close as you can ever get to experiencing this breath taking sky high event.
Visit the Nasional Museum
The National Museum is located in a striking building that features traditional Malay and Minangkabau architecture. It houses collections on natural history, local culture and customs, and outdoor exhibits of artefacts recording the country’s past.
The water park is home to the world’s largest water ride, the Vuvuzela, as well as the world’s largest man-made surf beach with waves reaching up to 8 feet.
The Extreme Park contains Malaysia’s first bungee and thrill seekers will certainly find something for them in the Scream Park. There really is something for everyone.
This place is fun for all the kids (and big kids) of the family with bumper cars, pirate ships and a loop-the-loop rollercoaster. There’s even an arcade if you’re not up to the rides.
As the largest indoor theme park in Malaysia, it’s definitely worth checking out when the clouds start to roll in.
Built during the British colonial period and completed in 1886, the museum is a mix of European and Asian styles and now features antique exhibits in the Great Hall such as fire engines and steam trains. There are also models and replicas of trains and carriages and visitors can stroll around the platforms and learn about the history of the locomotive in Malaysia.
Opposite the Dataran Square is The Sultan Abdul Samad Building (named after the 4th Sulatan of Selangor – Sultan Abdul Samad ibni Raja Abdullah (1857-1898)) was built in 1897, and design by the architect A.C. Norman. Stretching 400 feet along Jalan Raja, the building was originally constructed to house the Secretariat offices of Selangor. At night the buliding is beutifully lit for a spectacle vide of the country’s heritage building.
