Night Glow Access

The highlight of the fiesta and crowd favourite Night Glow will make a comeback this year, with a big surprise in store for visitors. 

  • Happening only on Saturday and Sunday evening
  • Entitled to two programs which is the : Evening display from 6 PM – 7 PM and Night Glow Show & Fireworks from 8.30 PM – 9.30 PM.
  • No charges for kids below 4 years old.

Tethered Ride

Enjoy the experience to be lifted off from the ground up to 60 ft high between 5 – 7 minutes.

  • Each basket slot can carry up to 2 to 4 passengers as long as the accumulative weight does not exceed 240 kg.

  • Evening session begins from 6 PM – 9 PM.

Temple of Supreme Bliss in the Hokkien dialect, Kek Lok Si Temple is a crowd puller and famous tourist’s attraction during the CNY. Annual display lighting showcases more than 10,000 lights. It is believed this act of faith will bring them peace, luck and prosperity.

The glowing tradition which was considered one of the major events during Lunar New Year was to attract thousands of visitors yearly.

On Chinese New Year’s Eve on Feb, the 126-year-old monastery will be illuminated all the way up to the 33.6m-tall Kuan Yin statue and pavilion. From Jan 19 till Feb 21 2020. The temple will be open to the public from 7am until midnight. Usual Kek Lok Si Temple opening hours are from 8.30am to 5.30pm.

The Penang Hot Air Balloon Fiesta will see 15 hot air balloons by international and local balloonists over the 2-day festival, together with family-friendly activities, creative workshops and many more.

Penang Hot Air Balloon 2020 Ticket Price

The event is FREE. However, there will be charges for certain activities, as follows:

  • Tethered Balloon Ride : RM50
  • Cold Inflation : RM5

On both days, three tethered balloons are open for rides to the public at RM50 per person while cold inflation (where anyone can walk into a balloon envelope that’s filled with cold air as it lies on the ground) is RM5 per person.

There will be two tethered balloon ride sessions a day. Tethered balloon ride is chargeable at RM50 per person on first-come first-served basis. Tickets are limited to the first 150 persons (with numbered tags) in the queue and there will only be one ticket sold to each person. Numbered tags will be given out 30 minutes prior to the opening of the ticket counter. Tethered ride ticketing details are as follows:

  • 7.15am [tickets sold only for morning session]
  • 5.45pm [tickets sold only for evening session]

Additional Note

  • Tickets sold each day will be applicable for the particular day only, e.g. purchase of tickets on 1 Feb can only be used on the same day for the specific morning or evening session.
  • Children below 4ft are prohibited to ride the balloon due to safety reasons.
  • Tethered rides are subject to weather conditions.
  • Should weather conditions prohibit the ride, visitors can claim a full refund from the ticket counter within 3 hours of ticket purchase.
  • Safety is utmost priority, however passengers are to ride at their own risk.
  • Appropriate clothing is advised such as pants or shorts for the ride.

Putrajaya Sentral Parking Rate 2020

This park-and-ride facility is managed by a subsidiary of PPJ. The current charge for covered car park is RM2 per entry from 6am to 12 midnight. Vehicles that exceed this time period will be charged an additional fee. Motorists who park their cars here can enjoy free bus rides on the Nadi Putra buses.

It is the most convenient and cheap option for travellers to park and ride, and get to the airport and back without a hassle.

Located in Precinct 7 near Putrajaya Hospital, Putrajaya Sentral serves as the transportation hub for Putrajaya, and its surrounding communities in Cyberjaya, Dengkil and Puchong

Is it safe to park my car at the station?

The security within and around Putrajaya Sentral is under the jurisdiction of Perbadanan Putrajaya. Car owners park their vehicles at their own risk. ERL is not responsible for any damage to the parked vehicles or theft.

Facilities and services available at Putrajaya Sentral include:

  • Free shuttle service to Putrajaya Hospital, and soon to the National Cancer Institute.
  • Park N Ride facilities with affordable parking rates. The multi-level car park building has 1,407 parking bays. The parking rate is RM2 per day (6am to midnight) and RM2 overnight surcharge (midnight to 6am).
  • There are also outdoor parking facilities, with more than 600 bays in total at the open space in front of Putrajaya Sentral’s main entrance and next to the bus terminal.
  • Unlimited one-day bus ride aboard Nadi Putra buses for Park N Ride users using their Park N Ride card. Regular Nadi Putra bus users would pay 50 sen per trip.
  • Special rates for Express Rail Link (ERL) train fare to encourage civil servants and the public to take the ERL when commuting from KL Sentral to Putrajaya. A one-way ERL train fare from KL Sentral to Putrajaya costs RM9.50; a return trip costs RM19.
  • There are also special rates for users heading to and from the airports in Sepang. A one-way ERL fare from Putrajaya to KLIA costs RM6.20; a return trip costs RM12.40. A one-way fare via ERL train and shuttle bus from Putrajaya to LCCT via Salak Tinggi costs RM5.50.
  • Seven food and beverage outlets, 11 kiosks selling souvenirs, a bus travel agency and a convenience store.
